Acceptable Use Agreement
Patrons must sign in to use a computer and agree to comply with all rules outlined herein. These computers may be used by anyone age eighteen (18) and up who presents a current, valid library card or by anyone from out of town who presents proper identification and signs this acceptable use agreement. The patron signing must be the actual user; you may not use another person's library card. Young adults ages 13-17 may use computers if a parent or legal guardian signs a permission agreement. Children under age thirteen may only use computer workstations when accompanied by an adult. Patrons must return headphones to the circulation desk and sign out when research is completed.
There is a one hour time limit on computer workstations per day. No more than two people may be at each workstation. Use of the computer workstations and the Internet is a privilege, not a right, and inappropriate use will result in a cancellation of this privilege. All users of electronic information resources are expected to use these items in a responsible manner, consistent with the educational and informational purposes for which they are provided.
Patrons must not attempt to alter any software or hard drive settings, attempt to breach computer security, or damage the equipment in any way.
