The Albertville Public Library is a beautiful, modern facility with a collection of approximately 80,000.

You will find something for everyone here. In addition to the traditional books for loan, we have a vast assortment of recorded books and DVDs for both children and adults.
The library collection is fully automated for ease of finding what you may need. Internet accessible computers with various software programs are available for public use.

In addition to a regular library card, patrons may register for an Alabama Virtual Library Card which will give them access to a diverse selection of databases on their home computers free of charge. A spacious conference room is utilized by many local clubs and organizations, as well as being used by our staff for our children's Summer Library Program. Our children's section, located on the second floor, is a delightful area complete with window seat reading areas, and painted wall murals.
